The first collection point for used cooking oil in Mongolia

We are pleased to be at the forefront of a new project in the field of renewable energy resources. Our client, Honest, specializing in sustainability and environmental protection, with its primary activity being the processing of animal fats for the production of biofuels, has launched a pilot project for collecting used vegetable-based cooking oil (UCO).

We have a diverse range of clients operating in the renewable energy sector. Honest stands out in that they operate in Mongolia, and according to all available information, this marks the first collection point for used cooking oil in the country.

Mongolia, like its neighboring countries, is facing a growing problem with waste materials, including used cooking oil, which often ends up in sewage or improperly disposed of, with serious consequences for the environment. Honest aims to change this situation by providing residents with the opportunity to responsibly dispose of their used cooking oil. The collection point allows residents to drop off their used oil free of charge, which is then processed and recycled. This minimizes the negative impact on the environment while harnessing the potential of used oil as a raw material for the production of biofuels or other products.
