This Wednesday, we gathered for a company-wide training session of REX Solutions, which was held for the first time in our new office premises in Mnichovo Hradiště. This event was not only an opportunity for personal interaction and exchange of experiences but also a crucial moment for sharing important information regarding the latest legislative changes.
The main topic was an update on the current legislative process related to the new European Directive RED III, which introduces new sustainability targets and corresponding changes in the classification of materials by their level of advancement. This is critical for our work in the field of renewable resources. Another part of the training focused on updates related to the Unified Database (UDB) project. This project, which is gradually being implemented, will soon ensure the recording and trade of liquid and gaseous fuels across Europe. Our colleagues were informed about the current status of UDB implementation and the expected benefits of this database for transparency and market efficiency, as well as the potential risks associated with its launch. The discussion centered on the technical aspects of UDB functionality and the practical steps our clients will need to take to be ready for its use.
In the final segment of the training, we addressed the issue of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). ESG is becoming an increasingly important factor in evaluating companies and their sustainability, and it represents a new area where we see significant potential and aim to assist our clients. The meeting was highly productive and provided many new insights that will help us better navigate the rapidly changing legislative and business environment.
