This year, AGRIKOMP celebrated an important milestone – 20 years of its presence on the market. To mark this occasion, the company organized a professional conference in Brno focused on current topics in the field of biogas plants, biomethane production, and the future development of the entire sector. Our company was proud to participate in this significant event and actively contribute to the professional discussion.
Representing our company at the conference, Dalibor Delong delivered a presentation on the upcoming operational support scheme for biomethane producers. This is a highly relevant topic that currently attracts the attention of all biomethane producers as well as investors planning new projects.
The main part of the presentation focused on the conditions for participation in the operational support system, particularly from the perspective of the parameters of the produced biomethane. Special attention was given to the issue of biomethane advancement, meaning compliance with the requirements for classification as an advanced renewable fuel, as well as achieving the required emissions score, which will be one of the key evaluation criteria.
The upcoming first biomethane auction, expected to take place in June or July, represents an important milestone for the entire sector. The auction will define the initial support conditions and set the rules for the further development of the biomethane market in the Czech Republic.
The conference also provided valuable space for sharing experience, professional discussions, and establishing new partnerships. It was clear that interest in biomethane and its future use continues to grow, and that the proper setup of support mechanisms will be crucial for the further development of this promising sector.
